Country Roads

This is a lesson on how to play John Denver country roads.

This is a great beginner song on acoustic guitar.

I use a capo on the 2nd fret so you can use all open chords on this song. With the exception of the F chord in the bridge.

I cover a couple of strumming patterns for country roads.

This one always makes me think about visiting my grand parents during the summer in Kentucky.  Fond memories there about helping on the farm, playing in the creek and exploring the mountains.

There really is something special about seeing that sunrise in the mountains.  And of course, grandma’s pancakes were pretty great too……
