Folsom Prison Blues Lesson part two

with No Comments

Welcome back to part two of Folsom Prison Blues by Johnny Cash.  One of my all time favorites.

in part two of this lesson we finish out the verse and the chorus and I show you a good “Johny Cash Strum pattern”

As always, you can strum songs many different ways and they can all sound good.  This is a good starting point to strum the song.

You can use this alternating bass strum on many country and bluegrass songs.

Palm mute with your strumming hand and you can add a whole new dynamic.

We will also be using a capo in the first fret for this lesson.
